Help Me Fight Heart Failure

Most of you know since August I have been in and out of the hospital for late-stage congestive heart failure. My heart function is down to 24%. Every day has been a constant battle to keep everything going in my life. Between doctor's visits, medications, and uncertainty about my future, to say things have been rough would be an understatement.

For the past 5 months, I have been wearing a defibrillator vest 24/7 as a means to keep me alive in case my heart suddenly stops because of the severe risk of sudden cardiac death. I have tried so hard not to ask for help as much as possible, partially because of pride but also because I have tried my best to help others, putting them before myself. Doctors are now concerned that I may have cardiac sarcoidosis and burnt-out infiltrative disease. What it means in the short term is that my own immune system is attacking my heart.

On March 4th, I'll be having my surgery to get a defibrillator/pacemaker implanted to help manage my condition. Although my condition is not curable and is both progressive and terminal, this is my best chance at a future. I myself don't entirely know what to write here other than that I am hoping and praying for support as I am struggling to cover even basic bills like food, rent, and even my phone bill. And it's only going to get more difficult during my surgery and recovery. At this point even a dollar can add up!
