Help Me Fight for Shadow – She’s My Best Friend

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out today because my 6-year-old dog, Shadow, who is my best friend, is facing a life-threatening challenge.

I am raising £6,000 to cover Shadow’s urgent medical care, including specialist tests, surgery to remove her tumor, and necessary treatments.

She’s been my best friend, my cuddly, adventurous girl who’s always been there for me through thick and thin. I can’t imagine life without her, and I’m not ready to give up on her just yet.

Recently, Shadow was diagnosed with a suspected aggressive tumor on her neck. She’s been responding well to steroids and is showing more energy, but she still needs further professional testing and treatment. The tumor is in a sensitive area, and the costs to give her the best possible chance at survival are significant.

I’ve already spent most of the savings I had set aside for her care, and now the costs are continuing to rise as we explore all options. The money will go towards further tests, potential treatments, transportation, and even home-cooked meals as she has been recommended a low-carb diet. These treatments and consultations are expected to cost much more than I can manage on my own.

Shadow is only 6, and I can’t bear the thought of giving up on her now, especially when she’s showing signs of improvement. She’s been with me through some of my hardest times, and I owe it to her to give her every chance possible.

To keep you all informed and involved, I’m planning to start a TikTok (@ariadelray) where I’ll share Shadow’s progress. I want to update everyone on her condition, show the good moments, and keep you all part of her journey.
