I am raising funds to cover legal fees after my companion dogs were taken by the police and ultimately given to their friends, who happened to own the kennel where my dogs were impounded. Throughout this ordeal, the city court and police have continued with many unlawful actions against me, resulting in the heartbreaking loss of my animals. After months of fighting, I have finally been granted a writ of review in circuit court against the city, which means my claims of legal error have been certified as valid by an attorney, and the judge has acknowledged that significant legal error and injury has occurred. I have already paid a significant amount to get the case started, but I need help to continue this fight.

The funds raised will be used to pay attorney fees as I work to challenge the actions of the city and seek justice for myself and my dogs. This case is not just about me—it’s about protecting the rights of all dog owners who could face similar injustices. I have been fighting this battle for over a year, and while the struggle has been difficult, I am determined to see it through.

The writ was served successfully on the city but they are in non compliance with the Judge's orders as they refused to turn my case record over to the circuit court. I have filed a motion to compel and a hearing has been set for May 20th 2026.

I have a consultation set up for this week! The fee is $300 and I should learn the retainer amount as well for him to finish this case with me.
