Help me fight for a fair divorce and rights to my home

Hi, my name is Chyanne, and I’m currently in the middle of a very difficult and unfair divorce. I’m raising funds to afford legal representation so I can protect my rights, correct a deceptive court filing made without my knowledge, and fight to keep the home I’ve poured years of work and money into. If nothing changes I’ll be effectively homeless on my birthday, May 31st.

My former spouse attended court without informing me or my attorney, despite us having an agreement in writing and text. He misled me into believing there was no court date and that we had agreed on a property division. As a result, a one-sided judgment was entered that gives him full control over the house we both shared and that I continued paying the mortgage and major repairs on for over a year after he moved out.

I’ve invested countless hours and thousands of dollars into this home: from paying the mortgage (sometimes in full), to repairing plumbing and flooring, and even building the garden myself. I’m not trying to take more than I deserve just to make sure the division is fair and reflects the truth.

Unfortunately, challenging what happened now requires court motions and legal fees I simply can’t afford on my own. I’ve already been through so much emotionally, financially, and legally and I’m asking for help to finally be able to stand up for myself and have my side of the story heard.
