Help Me Afford a Lawyer – Wrongfully Charged and Facing Max 16 Years in Prison

Hi friends -

I never thought I would be in this position.

But here I am, facing multiple charges, including two felonies, and looking at a max 16-year prison sentence.

What Happened?

I went out to club Space in Miami, bought my ticket just 10 minutes before entering, and was allowed in without issue.

About 15-20 min after entering and ordering at the bar, I was approached by security who told me I was trespassing and had to leave.

I tried to show them my ticket to explain I paid entry, but everything escalated quickly. The next thing I knew, I was body slammed onto the ground and beaten up by off duty police (they also apparently work security) and security.

On top of that, I'm facing charges of trespassing, battery against a police officer, and resisting arrest (with and without violence)—among other charges.

I was in jail for 2 days which was probably the most dehumanizing experience of my life.

I cannot say much more due this being an ongoing case but feel free to message me.

Why I Need Your Help

I was assigned a public defender, but they wouldn’t even return my calls.

The legal system in the states is pretty stacked against people with public defenders - a lot of them are just too busy and will do minimal work in helping you.

Considering the consequences of these charges….I hired a very good private attorney.

I have already put everything I have into hiring a private attorney, but legal fees.

My lawyer fees are going to be close to 12k

I'm hustling, borrowing money from the bank, etc but any help would be appreciated.

What’s at Stake?

My life – I’m facing up to 16 years in prison for charges that shouldn’t even exist.

My future – A felony conviction will make it very difficult to get a job, rent an apartment, or even travel .

Any amount helps - really.

This is a lot and I need all the support I can get.
