Hi, my name's Nick Hedley. I'm a climate and energy journalist and researcher from South Africa.

A year ago, I started The Progress Playbook , a digital publication focused on the countries, cities, and organisations that are leading the way in tackling climate change and creating a better, fairer, and more sustainable world. We're creating a blueprint of best practises for decision-makers everywhere to follow, and aim to accelerate action.

While we've grown immensely and have a truly global reach and audience, it's extremely challenging to create a sustainable media business in the age of social media.

I need to raise funding to further expand our reach, hire more researchers and writers so we can create more content (including video content and podcasts), and ultimately to ensure we survive and thrive.
