Help Me Fight Chronic Illness & Save My Vision
Donation protected
My name is Lindsie Rodriques, and in August 2021 I was diagnosed with long COVID, which marked the beginning of a long and painful health journey. Since then, my physical and mental health have steadily declined. I’ve seen countless specialists with few answers and little relief. In November 2024, I suffered the devastating loss of my father, which deeply impacted our family and added an overwhelming emotional toll.
Most recently, I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension, a serious condition that causes severe daily headaches and can lead to permanent blindness if left untreated. After multiple ER visits, failed treatments, a spinal fluid leak from a lumbar puncture, and a temporary fix with a blood patch, I was finally admitted to UC Davis, where doctors discovered severe narrowing of the vessels in my brain. I underwent one brain stenting surgery, with a second scheduled soon.
I’m currently unable to work and will require ongoing treatment, therapy, and possibly two more major surgeries if my condition doesn’t improve. Your support will go toward medical expenses, travel for treatment, and recovery.
Anything you can give helps — thank you from the bottom of my heart.
