Hi, my name is Daina Jean, I’m 18 years old,and I never thought I’d be writing something like this.

I’ve been diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer, and it’s now spreading to my liver. I started the chemotherapy but for unknown reasons I have masses on my liver and it’s getting more complicated and they had to stop the chemotherapy to treat my liver first and see if I need another surgery. Every day is a battle physically, emotionally, and financially. But even in the darkest moments, I still hold on to a dream to become a nurse and care for others the way I’ve needed care myself.

This diagnosis has shaken our family. Medical bills are piling up, and I’m unable to work. We’re struggling to make ends meet. I just need a chance to get my life back.
