Help me fight ASM and win!

Hey there! My name is Danny Moore. I am a US Navy Veteran and the father of four wonderful children who are the center of my world:  I have spent most of my life trying to help people. Since graduating in 2011, I have dedicated my life to helping people through social work. In 2015 I had a scare and was diagnosed with Mastocytosis. I was lucky and at that time it was considered Cutaneous and Indolent Mastocytosis, and it mostly affected my skin. The symptoms were well controlled with medications. In December 2018 I started a job that I love, teaching people who work with individuals that have developmental disabilities. In February 2019, I married the love of my life:  Just three months later, May 2019, things took a significant turn for the worse. I started getting sick on a daily basis. It got to the point that I could not get out of bed in the mornings, started losing weight, and feeling nauseous anytime I wasn't actively being sick. Adjustments to my diet did not help and various medications provided little relief. I underwent further testing and it was determined that my Mastocytosis had progressed and evolved into Aggressive Systemic Mastocytosis (ASM). It is a very rare and unique disease, but can be likened to leukemia and affects my bone marrow and essentially my entire body. I learned that in order to fight this disease, we would start with chemotherapy.  It is terrifying as a young, recently married father to face the reality that I have a life threatening condition. I am scared for myself, but I am more concerned for my wife, children, and loved ones.  I have been unable to go to work, though my position is protected by FMLA. My leave is exhausted and I do not get paid for the time I am not at work. This request for funds will allow me to continue to pay my insurance premiums and bills that I cannot afford to pay through short term disability.  I am uncertain how long I will be receiving treatment. My first update after starting Chemotherapy will be July 18. At that point I will have missed nearly two months of work. I am hoping the medication is effective and I am able to get back to work at that time.  Please help me support my family while I fight ASM, thank you!
