I am reaching out in desperation as I navigate an incredibly difficult situation that has changed my life in ways I never imagined possible. Recently, I was falsely accused of stealing my own car. I had a signed title for my vehicle, purchased from my aunt and uncle, but law enforcement claimed the title was only valid for 30 days. This led to my initial charge of theft of a motor vehicle.

While driving through Milledgeville, I was stopped and subsequently charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. The trauma of spending 6 ½ days in jail has left me feeling lost and scared. To make matters worse, the individual involved has taken my vehicle, filed for a new title despite my having the original signed document, and has served me eviction papers for my home, which I inherited through my family.
