Oceana High School is giving me an exciting opportunity to visit Washington, D.C., our nation’s capital! This trip is more than just a chance to travel—it’s an educational journey where I’ll will get to explore the rich history, government institutions, and cultural landmarks that shape our country.
During this trip, we’ll:
- Tour iconic sites like the White House, U.S. Capitol, and Supreme Court.
- Visit world-renowned museums, including the Smithsonian.
- Learn about the history of democracy at memorials like the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials.
- Engage in hands-on learning experiences that bring history and civics to life.
This trip will inspire and educate, leaving lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for our nation's history and values. However, we need your help to make this dream a reality!
