Help Me Explore the World: My Florence Study Abroad Journey!
As the proud daughter of two military veterans, the importance of exploring the world and broadening one's horizons has been instilled in me from a young age. My parents bravely served our country, and now, I have an incredible opportunity to embark on my own journey of discovery and growth. I am thrilled to announce that I will be studying abroad in Florence, Italy, for the Fall 2025 semester, and I need your support to make this dream a reality!
I will be participating in the Citrus College and Southern California Foothills Consortium's exciting Florence, Italy, semester program, partnered with AIFS Abroad. From September 5th to November 29th, 2025, I will be spending 12 weeks immersed in one of the world's most iconic and inspiring cities. Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, has shaped art, science, and philosophy for centuries. It's a timeless city and a place filled with masterpieces, from Michelangelo's David to the Duomo's breathtaking dome. This cultural and historical gem is also a vibrant city alive with energy, offering endless opportunities for learning, exploration, and unforgettable experiences.
My Journey to Rome
Beyond my studies in Florence, this program also includes an incredible excursion to Rome! I'll have the chance to spend three days and two nights in Rome, with guided tours and entrance fees to major landmarks like the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Vatican Museums. This will be an invaluable opportunity to learn more about Italy's rich history and culture.
