Sheepy Hollow Sanctuary is a spooky themed sanctuary, where love, compassion, and Halloween cheer last 365 days a year. I am so incredibly grateful to have seen my dream for SHS come to fruition over the past two years and am beyond excited for what the future holds.
I started Sheepy Hollow Sanctuary in February 2021 with the arrival of my four OG's- Greta, Lenny, George, and Moe. Since then, we have welcomed two more incredible girls to the SHS family- Elvira and Beverly (aka Bev). It is my duty as a sheep mom to provide my residents with everything they need to live their best and happiest lives and your support has made a world of difference!
My sheep and I are currently living on a private property in Northern California with the property owners, but I am aiming to acquire my own property to expand and rescue even more animals in need. Additionally, I have spooktacular plans for Sheepy Hollow Sanctuary and future programs, such as
- Rescuing and providing a forever home to more sheep and farmed animals in need
- Becoming registered as an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit
- Offering educational programs for children and adults, focused on farmed animal welfare and compassionate action
- Developing a year-round haunted house and Spooky Barn to serve as our education center
- Providing animal assisted therapy services to at-risk youth, veterans, adults with developmental challenges, and other populations in need
- Hosting monthly Halloween themed events at the sanctuary
- Public and private tours to meet the residents and hear their rescue stories
- Creating a pumpkin patch for guests to allow them to take a piece of SHS home with them
With your support, we can raise the money needed for a down payment on our own property and cover the cost for the safe transport of our woolly and furry family.
