My name is Deema Alhaddad, I am from Gaza and currently pursuing my undergrad education in the US. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. I’m trying to save my family and evacuate them from Gaza. This war has taken everything from us, our apartment has been bombed, and my father, who suffers from kidney failure, urgently needs medical care. Dialysis is no longer available where they are, and every day the situation becomes more dangerous and hopeless.

I’m currently outside of Gaza, but my heart is with my family. I feel helpless knowing they’re struggling to survive—just trying to find food, water, and safety. My parents and four younger siblings have been living through this nightmare, and their education has already been on hold for two years. They deserve a chance to live in peace and start over.

I'm raising $46,000 to help evacuate all six members of my family and support them as they begin a new life in Egypt. It costs around $7,000 per person just to get out of Gaza.

There are reports of a possible ceasefire, and this could be our only window to get them to safety. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to giving them a future.
