My name is Gaelen Williams I'm a single dad to my 8 year old son Ollin. I love my son so much and he's a really special kid and he needs me. His mother had to leave LA because it's simply too expensive and I had planned on leaving as well. However even with two jobs I can't save enough money to leave. In fact I'm falling behind. Now, I have a custody agreement and visitation rights which are being violated but his mother seemingly had to make an emergency decision and I don't want to be here anyway.

I was making weekly minimum payments and larger ones when I could but my landlords lost their patience and have decided they want me out. I'm so scared that they will hurt me because they've come into my home before and threatened me with physical removal.

I've had the police come out and educate them on my rights so at this point I'm waiting for the eviction notice.

Besides that, I have wanted to leave since I arrived. Coming here was a desperate move during COVID lockdown. The people who live here don't clean, the people who own it don't fix it. Please help me get back to my son. With five thousand dollars I could at least get all my stuff in a van or storage unit and potentially a down payment on a room in the new city. Anything to escape here unharmed and return to my son.
