HELP ME ESCAPE INDONESIA – FOR MY HEALTH AND MY CHILDREN

My name is Marco Kindermann, I’m 40 years old, and the proud father of two beautiful children who are my world.

I am currently stranded in Indonesia – with no money, worsening health issues, and no way to leave the country by air due to an internal blacklist.

My medical situation:

A few weeks ago, I was involved in a motorbike accident, caused by a defective rental vehicle. Since then, my foot has been swelling, I’m experiencing numbness, tingling, and intense pain. It’s getting worse by the day, and I fear permanent damage.

The healthcare system here is not free, not safe, and not accessible for someone in my situation. Even basic diagnostics like X-rays or an MRI are unaffordable. And sadly, I don’t have health insurance anymore – I simply couldn’t afford to pay the monthly bills.

What about the German consulate?

I reached out to the German consulate, but they offered no practical help unless I:

Pay upfront for their assistance

Or fly to Jakarta (which I absolutely can’t afford)

They couldn’t provide any real solution – and I feel completely abandoned by the system.

No support. Nowhere to turn.

I have no financial support from family or friends.

I’ve already used up all my savings trying to stay afloat.

And because of the conflict with the motorbike owner (who falsely accused me of scamming him), I’ve been blacklisted internally and can’t fly out.

✈️ My only option: escape by land to Malaysia.

To leave the country, I must travel by land and sea to Malaysia – a long, exhausting and costly journey involving multiple transports, border crossings, accommodation, and visa fees.

I urgently need help for:

Medical care: Tests, medication, emergency treatment

Travel to Malaysia: Boat, bus, border fees, hotels

Survival needs: Food, hygiene, SIM card, Internet to stay in touch with my children
