After losing my job following severe workplace harassment and spending the past nine months rebuilding my mental health, I finally had a real opportunity to have a safe, stable living situation and the ability to start over in California. This plan was confirmed several times and work had begun (including this fundraiser) to make the wheels start moving. Unfortunately, that plan has abruptly changed and is no longer an option. This leaves me with only weeks to avoid eviction. This fundraiser is to cover past-due rent and utilities, and give me some time to figure out a new plan.
