Help Me Escape Crushing Car Debt - $32000 needed
Donation protected
I moved to the US 10 months ago. I dived right into finding a job and a car. I’ve never owned a car before so the thrill of getting one overcame me.
I bought my first car 2 months after arriving and quickly the engine stopped working. I work 25 - 30 minutes from home so I needed a car to get to work everyday. I was very lost and not knowing better, I traded it in at a dealership. Thinking the trade in would help, it barely scratched the surface. I also had no credit because I moved to the US 3 months prior.
I bought a vehicle for $15,802, thinking I was making a smart investment in my future. But with interest and fees, my car loan has ballooned to $32,000 and it's overwhelming.
I'm doing my best to keep up, but the burden is heavy. Most of what I pay goes straight to the interest, $16,198, and I’m barely making a dent in the principal. It’s an endless cycle that’s keeping me from moving forward financially.
I also lost my job 2 weeks ago and I’m trying to hold on.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward paying off the car loan.
This isn’t just about paying off a car, it’s about breaking free from debt that’s holding me back from saving, building credit, and planning for the future.
Your help would lift a massive weight off my shoulders. Even small donations add up and I truly appreciate every single one. If you're not able to give, a share means the world to me.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting my journey.
