Help Me Escape Abuse and Start Grad School

Hello, my name is Kera (some of you may know me as Venus or Venusingatorade online) and I currently live in an abusive home setting and without disclosing too much, I am trying to find a way to fund a move to that will take me across the country so I can start grad school and finish my MA for the upcoming semester that starts in June 2025.

During my MA, I will be working and receive income that will help me with living costs, starting in August of 2025. But I will need help in paying for my apartment (security deposit, 1st month's rent etc), living expenses and transportation for those first 2-3 months.

Most of my family of origin does not have a clue that I am doing this, but ultimately will NOT support me with this. This is why I am coming to you for your help.

I have no privacy. I don't even have my own bedroom. The home I stay in is slowly deteriorating and is built directly in front of an active train track that runs almost daily. The infrastructure of my hometown is also crumbling and there is no work outside of service, medical, and hospitality that is available to me. Many young people, like myself, simply leave. This move is not only important to me, but to my younger sibling, who is also struggling to get away.

If I am successful with this, not only will this save my life, it will save theirs.

For full transparency, this campaign will stay up as long until I know I am safe enough without it.
