After spending eight months in long-term recovery in the trees of upstate New York, followed by a year of solo reflection, processing, and healing, I’ve made the decision to move back to California to be closer to my people. I’ve always wanted to drive across the country, and I finally have the chance to make it happen. I’ll be returning to the central coast, where I went to college, right between the Bay and LA. I’m excited to join the theater scene out there and start a new chapter in my life. I have a job lined up and a place to stay when I arrive, but I could use a little help getting there. Gas prices are incredibly high right now, and I want to make sure my car is in good shape for the journey. I plan to camp in my car when possible and stay with friends along the way, but I may need to get a room for a night or two. This trip is especially meaningful to me because it’s something my best friend, who passed away a year ago in June, and I always wanted to do together.

Support from this fundraiser will help cover gas, car maintenance, and a few nights of lodging as I drive across the country. It will also help me honor my best friend’s memory by making this journey we always wanted to make together. Thanks for reading and caring about my life update!
