Help Me Do My Master's Research in Uganda
Donation protected
Hi friends,
I urgently need help funding my master's research. For the past several months I have been planning my fieldwork for my master's thesis research on medicinal plants in Uganda. My research specifically looks at which plants local communities use for medicine, and for which ailments. It also documents how accessible these plants are for communities.
I have studied for countless hours, painstakingly planned, and done all I can to prepare for this fieldwork. I have applied for every grant I can find and done my best to save money from my part-time TA job. Unfortunately, I have not received any of the funding I was counting on getting--and I leave for Uganda in under two weeks. Nevertheless, I am still pushing through and doing everything I can to make my research happen, to do my thesis, and to get my master's degree. I have been taking care of research expenses from my own pocket as much as I can, but it's nowhere near enough. I would rather do pretty much anything else than ask people for help or money, but I'm desperate to make this happen and I don't know what else to do, so I am reaching out for assistance. Even the smallest donation would be a step towards making this research, and my future career goals, a reality.
By donating to this research, you will not only be helping me, but you will also be contributing to the preservation of traditional and Indigenous knowledge, environmental conservation, and global health equity.
