This September, I will be joining a convoy of 18 vans, one ambulance, and an incredible team of volunteers, driving my own 4x4 loaded with humanitarian aid over 1,200 miles from South London to Ukraine.

I will handover the 4x4 once crossing the border, which has the potential to save many lives through transportation of aid and assisting evacuation from conflict areas. Along with these vehicles, we are also sending a message of hope to our Ukrainian friends—that help is on the way, and they are not alone.

Funds received will go towards the purchase of specialist medical equipment such as:

* CAT 7 Tourniquets – to control severe limb bleeds

* Wound packing gauze – for managing deep wounds

* Chest seals – to temporarily reseal the chest after penetrating injury

We are also using funds to set up a kitchen space at Project Phoenix, a refuge in Lviv that helps displaced women, children, the elderly, and disabled individuals. https://volunteeraction.org/phoenix
