Hi, I’m Akram, a passionate athlete, former national-level swimmer, and Ironman finisher living in Dubai. After months of intense self-coaching and dedication, I recently qualified for the Ironman World Championship 2025 in Nice, France; one of the most prestigious endurance events in the world.

This isn’t just a race for me. It’s the culmination of years of hard work, sacrifice, and a deep desire to push my limits and inspire others through sport. As someone who transitioned from a full-time job in pharma to pursue a purpose-driven life through athletics and community, this opportunity means everything.

However, competing at this level comes with significant costs — including race entry fees, travel, accommodation, gear, coaching, and nutrition. The total budget I need to make this happen is between €10,000 and €15,000, which will cover the essential logistics and preparation to perform at my best. As much as I’ve tried to fund everything myself, I’ve reached a point where I need help.

I’m raising funds to cover the essential costs of this journey so I can represent not just myself, but also the Elevate Training Club community I’ve built from the ground up here in Dubai. Every contribution, big or small, will help me get one step closer to the start line in Nice.
