My name is Catalina Lopez and I am 19 years old. I am trying to raise enough money to afford an emema for my kitten Fynn.

I got him as a birthday gift, December 2024, and since then, he has been struggling with behavioral and stomach issues. Up until August, I have done my best to afford the medication/vet visits he has needed, but I have reached a point where I’m struggling financially to support myself and him at the same time. It’s caused me to be more open to the idea of giving him up, which I hope I won’t need to do.

Fynn and I moved from Virginia to Oklahoma this past August, and when I took him to the vet in July, I was told that a majority of his stomach/behavior issues were due to stress/chaos from the moving process. I was told that he was still very young and he just needed more time to adjust.

Since August, he has yet to fully improve after taking lots of different medications, trying new foods, new litter, etc.

He struggles to use the bathroom DAILY and I simply can’t stand to see him in pain anymore. I recently took him to a vet, here in Oklahoma, and they believe an emema will help relieve him of the constant pain he is in. They said his stomach is very tight and he needs stool removed before it causes more strain on his body.

During this time in my life, I feel very vulnerable asking for help, especially with money, but Fynn and I would appreciate any support we can get right now.

I’ve put a lot of money into Fynn and I’ve sat down with myself, and realized that he deserves someone who can provide him the life he needs in a financially stable environment. I have pushed myself to my limits to provide for him, and I hope my decision to create this GoFund Me can be a big step into giving him that stable life he deserves. I want to make smarter choices, and I want this one to heal my kitten.

I want him to join me on my next journey in life as healthy and as strong as he can be :)

If this enema can help him, I won’t have to think about giving him up to someone who can provide him that stable life, I can do that for him. I want to be able to do that for him. With the help of others, I know I can have a better start at creating that for him.

If I can reach my goal of $500, I can have enough money to afford his enema, medication he will need for post treatment, his next round of vaccinations, and daily necessities, like food & litter that he will need as he heals.
