I’m reaching out because my cat, Harley, who has been by my side for 14 years, is facing a serious medical crisis. His kidney levels are dangerously high, and after being hospitalized, we’re waiting on an ultrasound to determine the next steps. The results will tell us if his condition is surgical—likely leading to a heartbreaking decision—or if it’s something we can manage, though the impact on his quality of life is still unknown.

Harley isn’t just important to me—he’s also incredibly close with my other cat, Baxter. They’ve been each other’s emotional support for years, always by each other’s side. I know Baxter would be lost without him, and I want to do everything I can to give Harley a fighting chance if there’s a path forward that doesn’t compromise his quality of life.

Right now, I’m just trying to cover the costs of the tests and hospitalization so I can understand what’s happening and make the best decision for him. He’s the sweetest soul, with the most handsome face, and everyone who meets him falls in love with him instantly. This is an incredibly difficult time, and any support—whether financial or just sharing this fundraiser—would mean the world to me.
