Hi everyone , my name is Denis, I am from Argentina , but now I am living in Perth WA

Recently, I fainted and hit my head, which led to an urgent hospital admission at Royal Perth Hospital on Friday, March 13th. Thankfully, I didn’t suffer permanent damage, but the injury has affected my cognitive recovery, and I won’t be able to return to work as quickly as I had hoped.

My Medicare card had expired, and the accident happened before I could renew it. For this reason, none of my current medical expenses are covered, and I am now facing a bill of approximately $25,000, which I cannot afford on my own.

This accident also made me realize I need to listen to myself and take care of my health; the stress I’ve been under lately had disconnected me from myself. I’m now focusing on recovering, both physically and emotionally.

I want to deeply thank the hospital team: nurses, doctors, students, cleaning and kitchen staff. Everyone has cared for me with impeccable attention, and they truly deserve recognition for their work.

I will do my best to reduce the costs, but if that is not possible, I do not want to leave without contributing to the care I received.
