Help me cover Professor's medical bills

So about 2 weeks ago Professor was diagnosed with a pancreatic cancer called an insulinoma. This was 2 months after I discovered a gas leak building up underneath my home that was ready to blow up the entire house any day. I disconnected the gas and haven't taken the steps to repair it because his medical bills were far more important to me. He needed to have surgery and we took it out and his blood sugar stabilized, which is fantastic news, but we found that the cancer has spread microscopically to his liver. He will more than likely need to be on chemotherapy the rest of his life, but I've been assured that his quality of life shouldn't be affected and that he will remain disease free for way longer with it. So far, the medical bills have accumulated to $13,500. I can cover the ongoing expenses from here on in month to month but the surgery and initial oncology appointment had to be put on a credit card. I've had alot of people ask me what they can do to help and honestly, referring new clients to me at the salon or even just a few dollars would help immensely. Those of you know me know that I don't ask for money from people, but I am totally tapped out and getting out of this hole while he has continued medical expenses is going to be a massive challenge. Even a few spare dollars would be a blessing.
