Help Me Cover My Family’s Food and Shelter Needs In Gaza

Introduction

Alshawaf’s family was barely making it by before the war waged in Gaza. When the war started, my father lost his only source of income that supported our family of 6 members, leaving my family with no money for basic necessities. In addition, my sister’s branched family of 6 members and a newborn are undergoing overwhelming financial stress and are in need of urgent relief. In these uncertain times, my family with its two branches struggles to find its daily portion of food and necessary supplies that are absolutely important for survival.

In the 8 months the war went in Gaza, we have lost many things. Our house was partially destroyed by the war machine and the shelter my family lives in now was left compromised. As part of our donations campaign, we are going to direct a portion of the money for shelter purposes. It has become clear that the war is not ending soon and we need to think ahead to survive the next stages.

Who Am I?

I’m Nada Alshawaf, a student who graduated from high school recently in Gaza. I need your help to help my family who are now facing financial difficulties in order to ease some of their stress.

To Whom Are We Raising This Money?

We are a large family with two branches and 13 members. First branch I have my 3 brothers, my sister, and my father and mother. In the second branch I have my other sister, her husband, and 5 nieces, including a newborn that was born during the war.

What This Money Will Cover?

Immediate Relief: Your donations will directly go to relieve the family of the burdens of their financial stress, provide food and basic necessities, and drastically increase their well-being.

Food Security: Your donations will secure the food supply for the family for the upcoming months of the war and after for a while if it stops.

Shelter Security: Your donations will go to temporarily repair the partially destroyed house of my family and buy a tent that could shelter my family in case they get displaced a second time.

Newborn Necessities: Your donations will help my sister’s family with the expenses that come with having a newborn, from buying clothes, diapers, and cleaning supplies.
