Assalamu alaikum

I arrived in the UK nearly 20 years ago when I came to study. My time here has been a test after test and I am grateful to Allah for everything. Following fraud, ill heath, family problems and denied the opportunity to work, I have been left struggling financially and trying to support my family abroad as well. I was left with an overwhelming amount of debt but over the years this has all been cleared Alhamdulillah by kind souls and the local masjid.

I received refugee status and therefore started receiving benefits a few years ago Alhamdulillah. I work odd jobs but people do not treat me well and I have become depressed in this situation. I know everything is from Allah and I ask for His help. I live with my brother who is not well but he works some hours so the combined income gets us through some months. However we do not have enough to put towards our electricity bill which is increasing every month. I send some money back home for my parents' medical bills too.

I also recently applied for Citizenship which I paid on Credit card for £1,735 and now I don't know how I will pay that bill with the electricity bill increasing as well.
