Before I begin, please understand this is very difficult for me to talk about openly and I am only sharing details here in the interest of being honest and transparent.

In February of 2026, I experienced a stroke at the age of 35. After further testing and under the counsel of some of the best doctors in this field, it is still undetermined what caused this to happen to someone of my age who's in reasonably good health. I have been sober since June of 2024.

Under the direction of my doctors, this kind of medical emergency has required me to step away from work (touring musician) for a short period of time.

This comes after a year-long struggle with epileptic seizures and medication associated with that, though as of now, there is no medical connection between the two issues.

We are currently in the process of elimination, testing for every possible cause and how to prevent this from happening again. This means being extremely careful until I am stable on medication, frequent doctor/hospital visits, regular testing, and expensive medication.

I am currently uninsured but I am awaiting acceptance of Medicaid for Disability Determination from the state of CO.

This means that I can't drive, and my costs for these medical services are coming entirely out of pocket.

As you can imagine, this is all very difficult and costly to process, and I am asking for help through this time in order to get back to work, until such time that I can receive the benefits/insurance I'll require moving forward.
