I’m facing unexpected legal fees that have left me struggling to stay afloat. For my birthday this year, I’m asking for help to get through this and move forward.

It's my birthday this week, and I wish I were celebrating somewhere quiet and peaceful. Instead, I’m writing this because I need help.

I’m currently facing unexpected legal fees that have turned my life upside down and are potentially jeopardizing my ability to stay in the country. This came up at the end of last week and these last few days have been beyond stressful.

On top of that, my RV - home to Lincoln , Aspen and me as well as being my creative base - also needs some repairs, but the truth is, those will have to wait until I can take care of the legal issues, which are my top priority right now. Without resolving them, I can’t move forward with my life or work.

I’ve always worked hard and tried to stand on my own two feet. But right now, I need to lean on my community — on the people who know me, my work, my journey, and what it’s taken to get this far.

So for my birthday this year, I’m not asking for gifts — I’m asking for a hand.
