I had a health scare over the past couple of months. I spent several weeks in the hospital with 4 major intestinal diseases and problems that laid me out of work for nearly 3 months, and I am having a final surgery in a week that will take me out of work for another 3 weeks.

Because I haven't been at my job for more than a year, I do not qualify for medical leave.
