Hysterectomy Time!
Well friends, here comes a bunch of really detailed medical info that involves lady bits and innards, so if that's not something you can handle, please just go straight to the donate button, THANK YOU!
MEDICAL DETAILS
I had an emergency trip to Santiago because I was having painful lady issues and discovered that I have a giant polyp and a bunch of myomas and I need to get the polyp removed ASAP.
I have to do either a hysterectomy or hysteroscopy. Hysterectomy is where they remove your uterus and tubes, leaving the ovaries. Hysteroscopy is just to remove the polyp, which is less invasive but leaves the door open for future growths. The doctor is recommending to start with the least invasive surgery first (hysteroscopy) and see if we can handle it with just that. If not, full hysterectomy time.
So not only is there a cost prohibitive surgery (although much cheaper here than in the U.S.), but I'll be recuperating for like 8 weeks and unable to do much of anything to run the business back at the cabins.
THE ASK
If you could give anything to the cause, it would be much appreciated. I'm trying to raise enough so I can cover the rest with my savings and not go into debt. Just imagine that we're going out for drinks, but instead of you waking up with a hangover and an empty wallet from all the good times, you drop some of that cash into the bucket labelled Michelle's Ladybit Fund. Healthier for you AND for me!
No, en serio, it is very hard to swallow my pride and ask for help but some of my pushy friends are recommending this and I would be grateful for any help I can get to cover the cost of the procedure.
Thank you for listening.
Besos,
Michelle
