Help Me Continue Supporting a Life-Changing Cause - Dechen ❤

For the past five years, I’ve been privileged to sponsor a young girl in Sikkim, India, who had no family, no home, and no one to care for her. Her name is Dechen. When she was found, she was completely alone at her only relatives funeral, at risk of being trafficked, and the school that took her in could only do so on the condition that a sponsor would provide for her.

Thanks to this sponsorship, she has access to a safe home, clothing, food, education, and everything she needs to thrive. This support gives her the opportunity for a brighter future—a future she wouldn’t otherwise have. She is doing so well there, I’m so proud of her!

Each year, I’ve paid the full annual cost, which is about $1,700. It’s a private arrangement, not through a charity, so every dollar directly impacts her life and needs.

This year, due to some financial challenges and unexpected car repairs, I’m struggling to cover the full amount by the due date at the end of January. I’ve decided to reach out and ask if anyone might be able to contribute, even a small amount. Every little bit helps, and together, we can ensure that she continues to have the stable, nurturing life she deserves.
