Help a future journalist fulfill her dream.

I’m asking for your support to continue my education in the U.S. I was raised in Mexico and my dream has always been studying journalism in the U.S. I am in my junior year and have had lots of great opportunities so far, plus I’ve been in the Dean’s list every semester (meaning my GPA is 3.8). I work as a RA in a floor dedicated to first gen students such as myself, a Peer Educator for the BIPOC Center, as the Newsletter Editor at the college’s student newspaper, founded my own organization to celebrate mexican heritage “El Alma Mexicana” and I’m a spanish tutor among other classes. This year has been incredibly tough for my family. I’m the eldest of three sisters, the middle one will be also starting college next year. As the beginning of next semester gets close, we haven’t been able to make enough money to afford the costs of my education.
