Hi, my name is Farley and I’m 14 years old. This summer, I’m taking on a huge challenge — the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. It’s a 24-mile hike over 3 mountains in under 12 hours. I’ve never done anything like this before, but I’m determined to push myself because I’m doing it for something that means the world to me: my rugby club.
Rugby has given me so much more than a sport. It’s taught me teamwork, friendship, discipline, and how to support others — on and off the pitch. Our club is a place where kids like me can grow stronger, make lifelong friends, and build confidence. But like many local clubs, we rely on fundraising to keep going.
I’m doing this challenge to raise money for new kit, equipment, our tour and team development.
Completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks will be the toughest thing I’ve ever done. But I’m training hard, and I’m ready to give it everything I’ve got. I’ve even roped my Mum into completing it with me
If you can spare even a small donation, it will mean the world to me — and to my teammates. Your support isn’t just helping me walk 24 miles — it’s helping build a future for our club and everyone in it.
Thank you so much for reading, supporting, and believing in me!
Let’s do this together — one step at a time.
