Hi, My name is Sandra, and I am currently in my final year of nursing school in the UK. After years of hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance, I am so close to completing my degree and achieving my dream of becoming a qualified nurse.
I never imagined that, at this stage of my journey, I would be faced with the possibility of having to stop.
Since my second year of nursing school, things have been incredibly challenging financially. My dad has been my main sponsor throughout my studies, doing everything he can to support my tuition and help me remain in school. I have also contributed as much as I can towards my everyday living expenses and tried my best to manage the financial responsibilities that come with studying and living in the UK.
Despite the difficulties, I have continued to push forward. I have made it through the challenging years of my nursing programme, and now I am finally in my final year.
Unfortunately, I currently need to raise £16,900 towards my tuition fees. I have until next week Friday 16/10/2026 to make the necessary payment. If I am unable to do so, I may lose access to my course, which could ultimately put my student visa at risk. After coming this far, the thought of losing the opportunity to complete my degree is incredibly frightening and heartbreaking.
I am therefore humbly asking for your help.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a meaningful difference towards helping me remain in school and complete the final stage of my nursing education. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing my fundraiser with friends, family, colleagues, churches, community groups, or on social media would also mean so much to me.
I know that £16,900 is a significant amount of money, and I do not take anyone's support for granted. I am simply asking for an opportunity to finish what I have worked so hard to begin.
Becoming a nurse has been a dream that I have continued to hold onto through some very difficult moments. I am so close to the finish line, and I am determined not to give up now.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for considering supporting me, and for sharing my fundraiser. Every donation, prayer, message, and share brings me one step closer to completing my degree and becoming the nurse I have worked so hard to become.
With gratitude,
Sandra Odidika.
