Good day,

My name is Adriana Perez, and I am currently working toward completing my Doctorate in Leadership at Liberty University. I am in the final stage of my journey—the capstone portion of my program—which represents years of dedication, sacrifice, and a deep commitment to serving others.

For the past several years, I have devoted my career to education. As an Educational Diagnostician and former special education teacher, I work daily with students who have diverse learning needs. My passion has always been to advocate for students, support families, and ensure that every child receives the opportunities they deserve to succeed.

Pursuing my doctorate has not been easy. I have balanced full-time work, family responsibilities, and rigorous academic expectations. Despite careful planning, my student loans have not covered the full cost of my final capstone courses. Due to credit challenges, I do not qualify for private loans, and I am now facing a financial barrier that may prevent me from completing my degree.

This is more than just a degree for me. My doctoral work focuses on improving support systems for paraeducators—those who play a critical role in supporting students with disabilities. Completing this program will allow me to expand my impact, contribute meaningful research to the field of education, and continue advocating for both students and educators at a higher level.
