Help me Compete at IBJJF No-Gi Worlds in Las Vegas!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Zion Ribeiro, and I’ve been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) for over 9 years. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to compete at the IBJJF No-Gi World Championship, taking place this December in Las Vegas! This is one of the biggest events in the sport, and I am asking for your help to make this dream come true.
I’ve been ranked as the #1 Juvenile Blue Belt in both Gi and No-Gi in Ireland (Ireland BJJ), and also in Brazil (Grappling Industries). Some of my recent accomplishments include:
• Double bronze medalist at the IBJJF NO-GI European Championships
• Multiple-time champion in Ireland and Brazil
• Elite BJJ Junior World gold medalist in gi and no-gi
Competing at this level means a lot to me, not only because it’s a huge personal milestone, but also because it’s a chance to represent Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Brazil on the world stage. This opportunity will also bring more recognition to my parents’ gym Brooks Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, where I train, and show how far the sport has come in Ireland.
What I Need
I am fundraising to cover the following expenses:
• Flights from Florianópolis to Las Vegas and back (December 9-16)
• Accommodation for one week in Vegas
• Entry fee: $192 USD
• Food and transport for the week
In total, I’m aiming to raise £1,500 to make this journey possible.
By contributing, you’ll help me fulfill a lifelong dream and showcase the strength of Irish and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on the biggest stage. Every bit helps, whether it’s £1 or £100, and sponsors are more than welcome to reach out for partnership opportunities.
Thank you for your help!
