My birthday wish this year is simple: to finally restore my chewing teeth by completing the last stage of dental work — two bridges, four crowns, and four abutments.

Many of my teeth that once had root canals and crowns eventually broke below the gum line. One after another, I lost them. Today, I have no chewing teeth left — only my front teeth, which are not meant to carry that kind of burden.

I’ve already invested $6,480 for four implants. Now, to finish the work, I need $16,600 for two bridges, four crowns, and four abutments — eleven teeth in total. This is a one-time, all-inclusive goal that will restore my bite and give me back the ability to eat normally.

For more than a decade, meals have been stressful instead of joyful. I’ve avoided certain foods, skipped social gatherings, and carried the quiet toll of not being able to chew like everyone else.
