Help Me Chase My Cheer Dream & Support My Mom Who Does It All
Hi, my name is Alexandra Ramirez, and I’m reaching out not just with a dream—but with hope.
This year, I was given the chance to join the Willow Canyon Cheer Team, something I’ve worked toward for a long time. Cheerleading isn’t just a sport to me. It’s my passion, my purpose, and a chance to be part of something bigger than myself. It’s about positivity, teamwork, leadership, and giving 100% every time I step on the mat. From long practices to big competitions, I’m ready to give it my all.
Cheer is like an escape from dealing with all the hard times my dad has put us through. It gives me a space to focus on something positive and keep pushing forward, no matter what’s going on at home.
My mom is a single mother who has done everything out of pure love to raise me and my siblings. She works tirelessly, sacrificing so much just to make sure we have what we need and encouraging me every step of the way. Even though times are tough and finances are tight, she never stops believing in me or pushing me to follow my dreams. Her love and strength are the foundation that keeps me going.
My dad has struggled with substance abuse and is not part of my life—he isn’t able to help, leaving all the responsibility on my mom’s shoulders. With the high costs of cheer—uniforms, travel, competitions, and training—it’s become a weight that’s hard for us to carry alone.
I’m asking for your help to make this dream possible. Your support—whether through donations, sharing my story, or sending encouragement—means more than words can express. Every dollar brings me closer to stepping on that mat, giving it my all, and showing my mom that her sacrifices are worth it.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and helping me chase this dream.
