My name is Rex Bencivenga, and I’m chasing a dream that no kid in my age, weight, and belt division has ever achieved — becoming the first-ever IBJJF Grand Slam Champion in No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu.

I’m 13 years old, and this year has already been unforgettable:

✅ IBJJF European Kids Champion (Gi) – Rome, Italy

✅ IBJJF Pan Kids Champion (Gi) – Orlando, Florida

✅ IBJJF Brasileiro Kids National Champion (No-Gi) – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

✅ IBJJF Pan Kids No-Gi Champion – Fort Lauderdale, Florida (Just won on 10/19/25!)

Now, only one tournament remains — the IBJJF European Kids No-Gi Championship in Dublin, Ireland.

If I can bring home this final win, I’ll make history as the first to complete the Grand Slam.

Every single day, I train hours with my incredible team at Kola Ajose Jiu-Jitsu, pushing my limits and helping others along the way. I’m proud to represent Hyperfly as a sponsored athlete and to live by our motto:

To make this final dream a reality, I’m raising funds to help cover flights, local travel, and tournament-week lodging in Ireland. My dad covers all other expenses — food, gear, training — but international travel adds up fast.
