Hi friends and family,

I’m Kayla, and I’m working hard toward something that means everything to me: studying abroad from January to May 2026 in Rome, London, and Athens.

This opportunity feels like a dream finally within reach. I’ve always wanted to see the world, learn from it, and grow through experiences bigger than myself. To me, this isn’t just a trip. It’s a step toward the woman I’m becoming.

I’ve been putting in the work behind the scenes, saving what I can, running fundraisers, and using profits from Kake’s Bakery to help fund my journey. I was blessed to receive $14,000 in scholarships and grants, which lifted a huge weight off my shoulders, but there’s still a gap to close before I can make this happen.

If you know me, you know I’ll never beg. I believe in working for what I want. But I’m learning that sometimes it’s okay to ask for help when you’re doing everything you can.
