Meet Frank Karreman and Madge Mullings.

At 70 years old, both faced unimaginable hardships—homeless, alone, and with nowhere to turn.

    •    Frank, once a dedicated hospitality worker, suffered a heart attack in 2019 and was later diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, a life-threatening condition. Unable to work and without family support, he lost everything.

    •    Madge, a kind-hearted home health aide, lost her longtime client and, with no safety net, found herself homeless and alone on the streets of Boca Raton.

No one should have to endure this.

That’s why I took action—I personally signed an apartment lease and contributed $6,371 to cover their housing and utilities. But securing a home is just the first step. They need ongoing support to stay off the streets, access healthcare, and rebuild their lives.
