Help me challenge for a world title

My name is Gareth

I am a father, an NHS worker and competitive powerlifter and have the opportunity to represent Team GB at the WPC world powerlifting championships in November

However being an amateur sport, funding doesn't exist and I know full well I cant raise the £600 I would need for flights and accommodation for the competition before the cut off point. Any monies raised over our initial goal will be used to maintain my home gym where I’m training and for any chiropractor treatments at Risca Chiropractor & wellness clinic 

I have never done anything like this in the past and have always busted my ass to be able to compete in the sport that I love, this sport has given me many friends from across the UK and has helped me immensely with my mental health and to be honest , I think the sport saved my life and gave me a focus on those dark days where I couldn't see the light

This year I have been blessed to compete at both the British and European championships on home soil and won both competitions, but my biggest achievement was having my 9 year old boy Max with me for the European competition. Seeing his face light up when I won the title was the biggest thrill of my life and has inspired him to compete in a few years when he's old enough and that was my biggest win ever

So with your help I will be able to take max and myself to the world championships and compete for not only the world title, but more importantly to see the smile and joy in my little boys eyes
