Help me care for my son

My son Patrick, has been in the hospital for the past 6 wks. He suffered a brain injury caused by a brain abscess( subdural empyema) and this required 2 surgeries. He spent 2 weeks
in intensive care and is now on a specialist neuro unit. He’s only 16 yrs old and has needed not just medical support but also a lot of emotional and psychological support. He is not able to return to college at present due to his condition as he has a significant speech impediment and also some weakness in his right hand. He is normally very outgoing and his friends are very important to him and not being able to go back to college has been difficult to come in terms with. I have been by his side the whole time and I have been trying to offer him as much support as needed. 

My son is waiting for rehabilitation that would
offer him intensive speech and language therapy and also physio therapy and to get his strength back.  The closest facility is over an hour away from home and Patrick will need even more emotional support as this will impact on both his fiends and family being able to visit him. His biggest wish is to get back to college and lead a normal life.  I’m therefore Raising funds to support my son and our family so that we can continue to support him in his road for recovery. We want to offer him the best rehabilitation opportunities there are and be there for him. No one can ever prepare you for the emotional and financial stress that a sudden illness can cause x
