Hello,

My name is Saeed, and I’m a 17-year-old living in Gaza. I live with my two younger siblings, and right now, we are going through the most difficult time of our lives. Since the war began, everything has changed for us. We’ve lost our sense of safety, our ability to live a normal life, and even access to basic necessities like food, clean water, and medicine.

Our father, who has always been our support and protector, was seriously injured in the spine during the recent attacks. His injury has left him paralyzed, and he is now completely dependent on us for everything. Watching him in pain every day, unable to move or receive proper medical care, is heartbreaking. We can’t afford the medication he desperately needs, nor the proper food and supplies to take care of him.

We don’t have any extended family who can help, and as the oldest child, I’m doing my best to care for my siblings and father—but I am just 17, and I feel overwhelmed. We are simply trying to survive day by day, but it’s getting harder with every passing hour.
