Hi, my name is Caroline. I’ve become the full-time caregiver for my mom after a sudden and devastating medical emergency completely changed our lives.

She was always healthy and independent. But after a major seizure, a brain biopsy led to serious complications—including a stroke, a month in the ICU, and the discovery of an aggressive brain tumor. She’s now in rehab, learning how to walk and care for herself again, and will require ongoing treatment and full-time support.

I had to leave my job to care for her full-time and manage everything—appointments, supplies, meals, hygiene, and safety. I’ve used all the funds I can to get her what she needs, but I can’t keep up with everything alone.
