Hi everyone,
If you have met Frank you know that he is adorable, full of personality and constantly sick. Last year alone his vet bills totaled nearly $8,000. He's been into the vet twice this month, the first visit costing $900 and another $700 yesterday. We discovered that his eyes do not produce tears, which will be an ongoing and life long treatment, and we're still trying to figure out what allergy is causing his reoccurring ear infections.
This is really hard for me to post, but I could use some help. Living on a public school teacher salary, the cost of his care has become overwhelming. Over the past year, I’ve spent more than I ever expected on vet bills trying to keep him comfortable and healthy. Continuing to rack up my credit cards is becoming unsustainable.
Frank has been with me through life for the past 6 years of ups and downs. I can't imagine losing him now and I'm constantly worried I won't be able to provide care for him anymore. I’m trying to get him the treatment he needs (including specialist care for his skin and allergies), but I’m feeling really stretched financially.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount would mean so much. And if not, sharing this helps more than you know. I’m also offering spring photography sessions to help raise money for his care—so if you’ve been thinking about booking something, that’s another way to support us. Thank you for reading and for caring about Frank.
