Help Me Purchase Koala Rescue Boxes

Hi everyone,

My name is Kimberlee, and I’m a registered wildlife carer from the Noosa Hinterland, Queensland, Australia. I’m starting to build up my own specialised rescue supply kit to better support the animals I care for — from koalas, wallabies, and possums to birds and many other Australian natives.

Koala rescue cages are quite expensive and unfortunately out of my personal budget — but they’re something I would love to have to provide more effective care and support in the wildlife rescue world.

I’m hoping to raise approximately $495 to purchase one specialised koala rescue boxes, including delivery.

Each box costs around $440, with delivery at approximately $55 per cage. If i’m able to raise enough for one cage i would be over the moon.

These carry cages were developed at the request of the RSPCA. They are the strongest and sturdiest design available, with fitted covers to help keep koalas calm and secure during transport.

They provide warmth, protection, and a low-stress environment for injured, sick, or orphaned baby koalas, as well as other vulnerable native wildlife. They’re a vital tool that will help me respond quickly and safely when animals are in need.

Any additional funds raised will go towards more wildlife rescue supplies and equipment — helping me better care for more species in need.
